How to Log In to 192.168.8.1

192.168.8.1 is a private IPv4 address defined in RFC 1918 and used as the default gateway by Huawei, ZTE routers. It is not accessible from the internet - only from devices connected to your local network.

  1. Connect to your network. Make sure your device is connected to the router's Wi-Fi or via an Ethernet cable.
  2. Open a browser and type http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar.
  3. Enter your credentials. Type the router username and password when prompted.
  4. Explore the admin panel. Once logged in you can change Wi-Fi settings, update firmware, configure port forwarding, and more.
